Do I need travel insurance?

We strongly encourage all Blue Blenny participants to have comprehensive travel insurance that includes dive accident coverage, trip cancellation, and emergency medical evacuation. We suggest purchasing a policy that includes DAN (Divers Alert Network) coverage or equivalent.

How do I register for an expedition?

Accepted Answer

To reserve your spot on a Blue Blenny expedition, complete our booking form linked in the menu above. Expedition spaces are limited. Submitting this form does not guarantee your spot until your deposit has been received and confirmed by the Blue Blenny team.

Question 3

How do I submit a payment?

Accepted Answer

A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your spot. The deposit amount, as well as the schedule for remaining payments and due dates, will be listed on each trip's individual page. You will receive a payment reminder via email prior to each payment due date. Failure to submit final payment by the due date may result in forfeiture of your spot and deposit.

What if I need to cancel?

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be as fair as possible while accounting for the costs we incur in planning and operating small-group expeditions.

If you need to cancel your trip, you must send a written notification to hello@blueblenny.com. After notification, the following schedule will apply:

120 days or more prior to departure: Full refund minus the deposit
 91 through 119 days prior to departure: 50% of the trip cost minus the deposit
 90 or less days prior to departure: No refunds available

If you are unable to attend a trip you have booked, you may transfer your spot to another qualified participant by sending written notice to the Blue Blenny team at least 30 days prior to departure. A processing fee may apply. New registrants must meet all certification and eligibility requirements for the trip.

In the unlikely event that Blue Blenny must cancel an expedition due to insufficient enrollment, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond our control, all participants will receive a full refund of payments made, or the option to transfer their deposit to a future expedition. Blue Blenny is not responsible for non-refundable travel expenses such as flights or visas.
